Welcome to FTDOG.org, the official website of the Fort Tryon Dog Owners Group. We are a volunteer group committed to the care of Sir William's Dog Run and its community. Surrounded by the beautiful natural setting of Fort Tryon Park, Sir William's Dog Run is NYC's largest dog park, and is "graced with rolling hills and one of the most picturesque in the city." Our dog park is more than just a place for dogs. For most who use the run it has become a central part of our daily lives. FTDOG realizes that community is at the heart of our organization, and strives to continue building a community that grows stronger and more active each day. We openly welcome anyone who wants to be a part of it.

Is Your Dog Registered?

It's easy to register your dog! All dog owners living in NYC are required to register their dogs with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Application and instructions are available here.

Tip of Month!

A dog tag with a current phone number is very important in case your dog gets lost. Microchipping is also a great way to make sure pooch gets home to you!
